A Maker's Timeless Mineral Obsession
Makers Minerals' founder, Missy Halick, is a geologist and a fellow maker. She has dedicated her life to learning about minerals, including obtaining both B.S. and M.S. degrees in geological sciences. She has taught Mineralogy and Petrology (study of minerals under a microscope) at the college level and has worked in various industries as a geologist prior to establishing Makers Minerals in 2016. Since then, Missy has been dedicated to providing artists with a large variety of minerals that will help enhance their creative handmade business. Her ultimate goal is to establish a personal working relationship with all of our supporting makers and to continue to provide top quality minerals and gems.
