Moonstone is a type of white feldspar that can have a pearl opalescence or a flash of white. This optical effect is due to light waves interacting within the crystalline lattice and this "play of light" is called the schiller effect. This particular moonstone is from India and is grade A material. Moonstone is also the official birthstone for June.
Our crushed coarse material is considered to be pea-sized gravel, ranging between 4 millimeters to 2 millimeters. This size is great for decorating candles, embellishment designs, orgonite pyramids, large woodworking voids, resin art, and metaphysical projects.
