Aventurine is a type of quartz that has many micaceous minerals (mica) included within its crystalline structure. This white aventurine is from Canada and has numerous shimmery, muscovite inclusions. When crushed, the muscovite inclusions are more prominent, making the material look like natural rock glitter. A definite favorite!

Our medium material is considered to be sand sized (very coarse sand to fine sand), ranging between 2 millimeters to 0.25 millimeters. Please see the corresponding sediment size chart.

The crushed stones are beautiful. I have purchased from this shop several times and will continue to do so. The quality of the gemstones is excellent and orders always ship quickly.

We used this for the sand ceremony at our wedding, since this stone is naturally occurring where my husband is from. I poured pyrite. It was 100% worth the cost.
