Lapis lazuli is a rock that is composed of three important minerals: 1) lazurite (royal blue), 2) calcite (white), and 3) pyrite (metallic gold). This crushed lapis lazuli is high-quality (grade AA) and is from Afghanistan. This material has a very deep, royal-blue color and the material darkens and deepens when the stone is wet or sealed with an adhesive.
