Peridotite is the primary rock composing most of Earth's mantle. It consists mainly of three minerals: olivine (also known as peridot), clinopyroxene, and orthopyroxene. This rock forms exclusively under the high-pressure, high-temperature conditions found deep within the Earth’s mantle. This crushed peridotite is composed of 90% olivine, with approximately 5% each of clinopyroxene and orthopyroxene. 

MATERIAL SIZE

Our powdered material, consisting predominantly of silt and clay sized particles (<0.25mm), has a subtle gritty texture. Powdered minerals are great for filling in small cracks or voids, orgonite pyramids, resin molds, memorial and resin jewelry, ring inlay, resin art, and creating textured paints and pigments.
