Crushed Light Grey Labradorite (Grade A) from Madagascar, Coarse Crush, Gravel Size, 4mm - 2mm
Labradorite is a type of feldspar that can have bright flashes of blue, yellow, and even purple hues. This optical effect is due to light waves interacting within the crystalline lattice and this "play of light" is called the schiller effect. This particular labradorite is from Madagascar and is grade A material. Some of the coarse stones do have a blue flash.
Our coarse material is considered to be pea-sized gravel, ranging between 4 millimeters to 2 millimeters. Please see the corresponding sediment size chart.
