Crushed Silver/Cream Abalone Powder from Mexico, Fine Crush (<0.25mm) for Inlay, Metaphysical Resin Art

As part of the mollusk family, abalone has a thick inner layer of natural nacre (mother of pearl), which in many species is flashy and iridescent. This unique flash makes abalone an attractive material and has been used for thousands of years in many cultures from all over the world. This particular crushed abalone was harvested from the waters of Mexico and the powder has tiny, silvery specks of flash. 

MATERIAL SIZE

Our powdered material, consisting predominantly of silt and clay sized particles (<0.25mm), has a subtle gritty texture. Powdered minerals are great for filling in small cracks or voids, orgonite pyramids, resin molds, memorial and resin jewelry, ring inlay, resin art, and creating textured paints and pigments.
