Crushed Green and Reddish-Brown Fancy Jasper from India, Medium Crush, Sand Size, 2mm - 0.25mm

Jasper is composed of micro-crystalline quartz that can come in a variety of different colors and textures. This wide color variation is mainly due to impurities and trace elements within the crystalline lattice. This particular variant of jasper is predominantly dark green (with a hint of blue-green) mixed with a smaller amount of reddish-brown jasper. This "Fancy Jasper" is from India and reminds one of a mixed conifer forest.

Our medium material is considered to be sand sized  (very coarse sand to fine sand), ranging between 2 millimeters to 0.25 millimeters. Please see the corresponding sediment size chart.
