Crushed Clear Quartz Powder (Rock Crystal) from Brazil, Fine Crush (<0.25mm)

Quartz is the second most abundant mineral in the Earth's crust. Many gemstones, such as amethyst, rose quartz, and citrine, are quartz varieties that have trace amounts of other elements within their crystalline structure. These trace elements produce the variety of colors that we see in quartz. Just like other minerals, quartz can have inclusions and can vary in clarity. This particular quartz is from Brazil and has excellent clarity with little to no inclusions. This type of high-quality quartz is also known as "rock crystal". The clear quartz powder is a translucent white color.   

MATERIAL SIZE

Our powdered material, consisting predominantly of silt and clay sized particles (<0.25mm), has a subtle gritty texture. Powdered minerals are great for filling in small cracks or voids, orgonite pyramids, resin molds, memorial and resin jewelry, ring inlay, resin art, and creating textured paints and pigments.
