Lapis lazuli is a rock that is composed of three important minerals: 1) lazurite (royal blue to blue), 2) calcite (white), and 3) pyrite (metallic gold). This crushed lapis is top quality (grade AAA) and has a deep, bright BLUE color instead of the traditional “royal blue” hue that is found with our classic lapis lazuli products. This material darkens and deepens when the stone is wet or sealed with an adhesive. Definitely a great choice for projects that require that special “pop”.

MATERIAL SIZE

Our crushed coarse material is considered to be pea-sized gravel, ranging between 2 millimeters to 4 millimeters.
