This is due to natural factors such as: color variations, the presence of host rock, the presence of other auxiliary minerals, and/or staining due to natural weathering processes. Closeout crushed material is offered at a discount price and is a great option for makers who prefer a more rustic look with natural variation.

▏ABOUT ⧫ SONORAN TURQUOISE▕

This turquoise is sourced from the state of Sonora in northern Mexico, near the Alacran copper mine. Sonoran turquoise can come in a range of colors from vivid electric blues to bright greens and generally has a unique golden brown matrix. This closeout turquoise features blue and green hues mixed with an ample amount of golden caramel matrix and host rock, creating a distinctive rustic aesthetic. This material was stabilized prior to be crushed. 

▏MATERIAL ⧫ SIZE▕

Our medium material is considered to be sand sized (very coarse sand to fine sand), ranging between 2 millimeters to 0.25 millimeters. This size is great for most woodworking inlays, memorial and resin jewelry, orgonite pyramids, ring inlay, resin molds, mosaics, terrariums, bezel cups, resin art, embellishments, and metaphysical projects.
