ABOUT RED JASPER

Jasper is composed of micro-crystalline quartz that can come in a variety of different colors and textures. This wide color variation is mainly due to impurities and trace elements within the crystalline lattice. For red jasper, the trace element that gives it its distinct color is iron. This close out red jasper has a vibrant brick red color with a minor amount of associated quartz. 

MATERIAL SIZE

Our medium material is considered to be sand sized (fine sand to very coarse sand), ranging between 0.25 millimeters to 2 millimeters. This size is great for most woodworking inlays, memorial and resin jewelry, orgonite pyramids, ring inlay, resin molds, mosaics, terrariums, bezel cups, resin art, embellishments, and metaphysical projects. This material is also a great gift for makers looking for unique supplies or reiki practitioners that enjoy top quality stones.
