Our "Closeout Corner" consists of leftover material from our regular stock that has some imperfections. This is due to natural factors such as: color variations, the presence of host rock, the presence of other auxiliary minerals, and/or staining due to natural weathering processes. Closeout crushed material is offered at a discount price and is a great option for makers who prefer a more rustic look with natural variation.

***Closeout deals are not a part of our regular stock. These deals are limited in quantity while supplies last. Each batch will be different in terms of color ratios.***

ABOUT KYANITE

Kyanite is a beautiful blue, fibrous metamorphic mineral that forms in distinctive, blade-like crystals. It develops only under high-pressure conditions deep within the Earth’s crust, making it a fascinating mineral for understanding the tectonic history of the environment where it formed.

Because kyanite naturally crystallizes as thin blades, it also breaks down into progressively smaller, elongated crystals during the crushing process. The result is a collection of tiny, uniquely shaped blades - beautiful, distinctive, and perfect for your metaphysical practice.

This kyanite has great color, with varying amounts of muscovite mica, quartz, and iron staining, making it a closeout deal.

MATERIAL SIZE

Our crushed medium sized kyanite ranges between 0.25 millimeters to 2 millimeters in width and 0.1 centimeter to 1 centimeters in length. This size is great for most woodworking inlays, memorial and resin jewelry, orgonite pyramids, ring inlay, resin molds, mosaics, terrariums, bezel cups, resin art, embellishments, and metaphysical projects.

EXTRA LISTING INFO

We prioritize providing high-quality materials for all artisans; therefore, our stones are natural and untreated unless otherwise specified. Photos may showcase both wet and dry crushed stone. Please note that wet stones can appear darker, which may resemble the finished look of the material after it's sealed with an adhesive.

We use the metric system for all size measurements, with units in millimeters (mm). Refer to the product photos for a visual guide using a metric ruler (cm/mm).
